1.1 Independent Contractor Status: The Tasker/Freelancer is an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of QuickEarners. QuickEarners acts solely as a marketplace facilitator.
1.2 Responsibility for Taxes: Taskers are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including all tax obligations such as Personal Income Tax (PIT) and statutory remittances in Nigeria.
1.3 No Employment Benefits: Taskers are not entitled to any employment benefits, paid leave, pension contributions, or minimum wage from QuickEarners.
2.1 Minimum Age: Users must be a minimum age of 18 years old to register and use the services, ensuring legal capacity under Nigerian contract law.
2.2 Verification (KYC): QuickEarners requires all Taskers to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, which may include providing a National Identity Number (NIN), valid government ID, and Bank Verification Number (BVN) for payment processing.
2.3 Prohibited Activities: Accounts engaging in fraud, misrepresentation, sharing explicit/illegal content, or violating any Nigerian law will be immediately terminated.
3.1 Role of QuickEarners: The Platform is a facilitator only. QuickEarners is not responsible for the quality of work performed or the failure of a Client to provide complete instructions.
3.2 Task Definition: Clients are required to provide a clear and detailed scope of work. Disputes arising from vague task descriptions will be resolved by the QuickEarners dispute team.
3.3 Acceptance: Clients have a defined period (e.g., 72 hours) to review and accept or reject completed tasks. Rejection must be based on failure to meet the specified scope.
4.1 Platform Fees: QuickEarners will deduct a commission (e.g., 10% commission) from the Tasker's earnings for all services rendered through the platform.
4.2 Payment Holding (Escrow): Client payments are held in escrow by QuickEarners and released to the Tasker only upon Client acceptance or successful resolution of a dispute.
4.3 Dispute Resolution: Any payment dispute will be subject to mandatory internal arbitration by QuickEarners before external legal action is pursued.
4.4 Withdrawals: A minimum withdrawal amount and nominal processing fee may apply to transfers from the QuickEarners wallet to a Nigerian bank account.
5.1 Work for Hire: Upon the Client's full payment, the Tasker transfers all Intellectual Property Rights for the specific deliverables to the Client.
5.2 Pre-existing IP: Taskers must ensure they have all necessary rights and licenses for any pre-existing IP used in a task.
6.1 Limitation of Liability (LML): QuickEarners' liability for any claims arising from platform use is strictly limited to the amount of platform fees paid by the user in the six (6) months preceding the claim.
6.2 Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify QuickEarners against any claims or losses arising from the user's breach of these terms or violation of any laws.
7.1 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
7.2 Jurisdiction: Users agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos State, Nigeria, for the resolution of any legal matters.
8.1 NDPA Compliance: QuickEarners confirms compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 regarding the processing of your personal data.
